Finding great teachers is hard, but what’s even more challenging is keeping the talent you have. Unless you continually reinvest in developing your staff with successful ongoing training, enabling them to reach their full potential, they may leave and you will find yourself trying to procure more talent. This process can be a time-consuming, stress-inducing cycle. It is therefore critical that a school has a plan in place that focuses on developing all staff.
This session will cover the ways to build a culture of lifelong learning in a school organisation, from ITT to Senior Manager. The process of developing staff for greater roles and responsibilities accomplishes two goals: keeping teachers engaged and energised about their future with the school and ensuring you have a new generation of leaders who are prepared to inspire and lead, which in turn increases levels of engagement.
