We have a range of opportunities from our external partners and contacts.
Here is your July 2023 round-up
Action Tutoring
National education charity Action Tutoring focuses on reducing the academic attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. They work with schools to deliver high-quality tutoring to a group of 18-20 disadvantaged pupils in KS2, KS3 and KS4 through high quality volunteer tutors, supporting them for an hour every week in either maths or English.
As a National Tutoring Programme (NTP) Tuition Partner schools can use their NTP grant to support the cost of tutoring. Additionally, next year Action Tutoring is heavily subsiding the cost of programmes using their own fundraising to minimise the impact on tight school budgets.
Tutoring can be delivered online or face-to-face and they have a proven impact that you can read about here. Their dedicated member of staff who supports the weekly sessions reduces the administrative burden for school staff. Watch their partnership video to hear first hand how their programmes can work for your pupils. Find out more by contacting [email protected].
