After graduating in 2017 with a degree in Geography, George entered the education sector, teaching at two schools, before fortunately being able to go travelling before COVID-19 struck.
Part of George’s travels in Asia included teaching English in rural Sri Lankan schools for a charity called Extra Cover. Since coming back to the UK at the start of 2020, George has continued to pursue his passion for education, working for an international education charity, EduSpots, initially as a volunteer and more recently in a part-time role with the organisation.
During the original COVID-19 lockdown, George also started a part-time MSc in International Development at SOAS University of London, where he has looked to focus on education and development discourse.
In his spare time you are likely to find George involved in anything revolving around sport or exploring somewhere new.
