Maxine Low

Trustee

Maxine, one of Challenge Partners Trustees, has been a Head Teacher for 16 years, mainly in areas of high socio-economic deprivation. She is currently the Head Teacher of a Primary School that was built in 2010 and that, after having started with 45 children, has now quickly expanded to 580. This and another primary school have been built to serve a brand new community, where most parents live in complete isolation.

Previously she has led a Nursery School which involved establishing a split site school, co-leading with health, establishing a Sure Start Centre and day care provision that sought to break the cycle of deprivation and support families to train and gain qualifications and in work.
